A cousin of ours has informed me that her aunt was a Mary Scaife who was a military model for the WW2 Wasp posters. Bernard I believe her to be your close cousin. She married a guy named Strange, divorced him and married again Michael Grey who supposedly was a Spitfire pilot. I tried to find out about her but could not track her on this side of the pond. FYI.
